Around Town!

Culver City Enviro-Fest a Sustainable Success

Culver City Envirofest was a celebration of all things sustainable! Huge thanks to amazing advocacy groups like Ballona Creek Renaissance and Plant Based Treaty Los Angeles for joining us, and to our Public Works, Parks, and other city departments for showcasing their climate-friendly programs and practices. Together, we can build a greener, cleaner Culver City.

Jews and allies gather for “Jews Against Deportation” Rally

I was honored to be invited to share my story at the “Jews Against Deportation” Rally organized by If Not Now, Los Angeles, an organization of American Jews working to end U.S. support for Israel's apartheid system and demand equality, justice, and a thriving future for all Palestinians and Israelis. The rally was advocating for freedom for the many anti-war voices who have been abducted by federal agents and imprisoned without due process.

Downtown Culver City opens its streets for the 21st Annual Culver City Car Show

The 21st annual Culver City Car Show had something for everyone… even a bike and bus nerd like me! ☺️ Huge thanks to Culver City Exchange Club and Downtown Culver City for creating a wonderful open streets event!

May Day Demonstration at City Hall Draws Large Crowd

Another powerful showing at Culver City Hall — this time for May Day. On May Day, we honor workers, demand freedom for the immigrant laborers detained without due process, and recommit to building a Culver City that’s affordable for the very people who keep it running.

Supporting LA Forward at their “Spring Into Action” Event
