A spooky story

I hope you had a wickedly fun end to spooky season! 👻

But for anyone still in the mood for a good scare, here’s a tale to make your spine tingle.🕸️

Over the last several weeks, police associations, landlord lobbyists, car dealerships, real estate investors, and commercial developers have banded together, unleashing a ghastly sum of over $200K on an onslaught of haunting ads. Many imply I’ve been lurking on the council for years, stirring up all sorts of frightful misdeeds. 👻🦇

With Election Day creeping up in 5 days, we’re hoping to reach as many neighbors as possible to show them that a sustainable, affordable, and inclusive Culver City is nothing to fear. 💀🕸️🎃

Let’s push their scare tactics aside and remind everyone of the Culver City we’re working toward:

Housing for all incomes, safe streets, and services that care for all of us.

We don’t look THAT scary, do we?

I’ll get right to it: have you signed up to walk with us this weekend? It only takes a second.

Shifts are typically 2 hours, but you can come and go as you please. Lunch and high-fives provided!

Finally, don’t forget to turn in your ballot! Hit the button below to find a ballot drop box.

More of an in-person person? Find your nearest vote center below.

You can also still mail your ballot back— just make sure it is postmarked on or before election day.

Did you know that I’m the very first name on your ballot?

Thank you for helping us bring home the win and create a Culver City for all of us.

Let’s finish strong!!

With love,

Bubba
