If you live in Culver City, you’re probably getting a lot of weird mailers about us.

This week, a new group Onward Culver City Opposing Brian “Bubba” Fish (at least spell it right) began spending $45,000 in attack mail against us.

Yep, only against us.

Onward is funded by Our Culver City which is funded by real estate investors, commercial developers, landlord lobbyists, and MAGA millionaires.

It is clear that they are threatened. They know our campaign answers to you, and they’re worried our message is resonating.

We have 6 days left to elect a City Council that serves all of us. Our voices and our votes are still more powerful than their money. Let’s use them.

These attacks full of falsehoods went to thousands of voters across the city, so we need all the help we can get to knock doors and help people cut through the noise.

The vast majority of people still haven’t voted, and we need your help to get the word out.

First from Unite Here! Local 11, which represents 32,000 hospitality and service workers throughout Southern California including The Shay hotel in Culver City.

Second from Black Los Angeles Young Democrats, a grassroots organization committed to advancing equity and engaging new voices in the Democratic process.

And finally from L.A. City Councilmember Nithya Raman, a leader who has been an inspiration to me ever since her people-powered campaign won in 2020.
