Have you seen the numbers?

Hey friends,

Our candidates’ filings for the first quarter of the election cycle are now public. Here are a few numbers that stood out to us:

  • We did not just raise the most money of any candidate…

  • We raised all of our funds from 600 individual donors, the most donors of any campaign!

  • Our average donation is <Bernie Sanders voice> $106!

  • We’ve been endorsed by 10 major organizations, the most of any candidate so far

And we did it all without accepting a dime from fossil fuels, police unions, real estate companies, or any other special interests.

Friends, thank you for being on this journey with me.

From the beginning, we said this would be a people-powered grassroots campaign -- and I’m proud to say we’ve delivered on that promise. We couldn’t have done it without you and every single volunteer, donor, and supporter who has pitched in these last few months. It’s because of you that we’re on track to win.

Another thing we are proud of? We were the first campaign to publish our platform for everyone to review. I want everyone to know what we’re all about: housing for people of all incomes, a climate resilient 15-minute city, and enhanced public safety through services. If you haven’t gotten a chance to take a look at our platform, let us know what you think.

And if you like what you see, will you consider chipping in $25 to help us print more campaign literature and yard signs to show off that beautiful platform to Culver City voters? If you can’t donate, consider signing up for a two hour door knocking shift with us.

Lastly, you’ve probably noticed some yard signs going up around town…

If you haven’t received your yard sign this week, don’t forget you can request one by filling out our support form and endorsing our campaign.

There’s only 89 days left until Election Day. Let’s make it count.

Your friend,

Bubba
