Hey friends—
We knew from the beginning that this would be a tough race. We knew that conservative groups invested in maintaining the status quo would attack our people-powered campaign.
But I didn’t expect them to get this desperate.
Several negative mailers funded by a mega-developer, the police officers’ association, and other right-wing lobbyists have hit mailboxes across the city. These conservative special interest groups are clearly worried that our inclusive message is resonating with voters.
Each attack mailer sent thus far has been funded by one of these groups.
Instead of getting distracted by attacks from groups with no vision for the future— we’re staying laser-focused on ours.
We believe in a Culver City where everyone can get around safely and easily no matter how they choose to.
A Culver City where housing is abundant, and people of all incomes and backgrounds can find a home that meets their budget.
A Culver City with services that meet our needs– from childcare to summer camps, updated schools to accessible playgrounds, fast and frequent public transit and expanded public safety services.
Culver City deserves leaders who are focused on solving problems.
That’s why I’m running– to put an end to petty politics and get to work on behalf of everyone in Culver City.
Friends, winning this race is not a given. We still have 18 days to make sure we get out the vote. And these negative mailers will have an impact on undecided voters.

The most impactful way to help us at this final stretch is to knock doors with us. The weather is nice and lunch is on us! We would love to have you with us.
We will also need to purchase an additional mail piece and more impressions for our social media ads.
