Join us Monday for the swearing-in ceremony!
Hi friends,
Since I last wrote to you, the election results have been certified, so it’s official! I’ll be sworn in as your next Councilmember this coming Monday, December 9th at Culver City Hall.
I would be honored to have you there with me as I take the oath and officially take a seat at the dais for the first time. The meeting starts at 7, but expect the swearing-in to start closer to 8 or 9.
Afterwards, we’ll move to Rocco’s Tavern for drinks and bites.🥂🍻🍕🍗
We were only able to win a seat at City Hall, because you believed in our ability to make positive change together.
It was the donations you sent, the doors you knocked, the postcards you wrote, the signs you put up, and your constant positive energy that got us over the finish line. And now it’s time to celebrate!
I will be sworn in alongside Councilmembers Albert Vera and Yasmine-Imani McMorrin as we celebrate the completion of her year as Mayor. And I look forward to working with each of my new colleagues to help move our city forward.
Hope to see you Monday night! 🍾
I had a blast at the Walk n’ Rollers donut ride last weekend. We stopped at 4 donut shops over 20 miles to raise funds for Walk n Rollers’ Adopt-a-Bike program which gives reconditioned bikes to families in need throughout the region.
Sadly, Walk n’ Rollers just had their trailer full of supplies stolen and need our help. If you are able to donate, you can do so here. 🚲🍩❤️
Aaron and I had a wonderful time ringing in the holiday season at the annual holiday tree lighting in Downtown Culver City. A big thank you to the Downtown Business Association and all the participating community groups for filling our city with joy and holiday cheer!
Thank you for taking the time to catch up with me, and I can’t wait to celebrate with you Monday night!
